Some Old & New Creations

I've been on an "applique buying spree" lately (all on sale of course!) and have making them for my cute models! Gage is completely obsessed with tractors and was so happy when he saw his tractor shirt! At the moment Lilly still likes me sewing and creating things for her and I find that if I allow her to decide between designs she's still happy to wear them. I am hoping this will last for a while!! My only dilemma is in taking pictures. It seems that when Lilly is posing alone Gage rushes in and says "cheese." He never wants to be left out!!!

And yes, I've included a shot sporting his newest injury. It happened last night when he tripped in the bathroom and came crashing down on the very thick and not so flexible metal pale (holding the toilet paper).

Polka Dot Ice Cream Cone

I've been trying new creations lately which includes new tops. It's an interesting process since I always forget to take Lilly's measurements! So of course this top was too short so I had to add the ruffle trim. All in all, I think it turned out pretty cute!!

The Munchins

It's been a while since I posted pics of the kids. They are getting so big and it's amazing how much they change every day. Lilly will be finished with K-4 on Friday. It's hard to believe that another school has come to a close AND that she'll be in Kindergarten next year. Yikes!! We look forward to having a fun summer together, though.

Please note the socks! Don't worry, I made her change them:)

Special Order

Last week I created two shirts for a toddler. I added the bow to the football to make it a little more girly! And I love how the flower turned out. You don't always know how colors will work together until it's done, but I was very pleased with these combinations!

Football Romper

After finishing Aiden's football romper I just knew I had to make one for Gage. I've had this fabric for a while and it's been calling my name ever since I bought it! I absolutely love how the football turned out! It just adds character to the romper!

Perhaps I could have taken a better shot of the model!

Christian Shirts

Every Friday Lakeview Christian has Christian Shirt Day. So of course it's my one and only chance to dress my girl in my creations!! Here are a few for her and some classmates!

This is a rag applique. Each time it's washed the blue
around the fish will fray.
