We wish all of our friends, family (and loyal readers!!) a VERY Merry Christmas. May it be a day filled with love, laughter and good times!
Here a few pics of a our visit to see Santa. Unfortunately they aren't that great because Santa was late and then we had to take the pictures over due to technical difficulties (the first round were much better!). Oh well, at least we have the pictures and the memories!!

School Christmas Party
Lilly's class had a Christmas party on Friday and like a bad mommy, I completely forgot the camera. Thankfully other good mommies brought there's and I thought I would post a few that I just received.
Below is Lilly's friend, Tristen (who I think could be her twin!). I just love his facial expressions in the pics. I am sure one day they will have a good laugh at these!!
Oh and this just in...Gage is getting more teeth. He's been working on two more teeth on top and one just broke through yesterday. And then today I was cleaning his face after feeding him baby food and noticed that another tooth (that I hadn't even seen) has broken through on the bottom. I am afraid with all these teeth that nursing will be coming to an end:(

An Early Present...For Mommy!!
I never thought I would be excited about a vacuum, but yesterday Carl brought home a Dyson vacuum as an early Christmas present. If he had done this when we were first married I wouldn't have been as excited, but seeing as I've been wanting one for quite some time, I was VERY excited (and surprised)!!!
I tried it out today and it was great. I wish Carl was around to take a picture because I really felt like a redneck mama. Gage was on the hip while I was vacuuming...he wasn't so keen on the noise!!

Too Cute!!
My friend had this BEAUTIFUL dress on her blog and I had to check it out. It seems that the seemstress (at Grosgrain Fabulous) is having a giveaway for this gorgeous dress and I just know my Lilly will win!!
Shall she wear it to the ballet or out the the hunting lease? Hum, I'm just not sure!!! Thankfully she'll have a Katydid purse to go along with it:)

Christmas Decorations
We are finally all decorated however it's not as much as I've done in the past! For some reason I just didn't have the energy this year!
This year Lilly and Carl picked out the tree and unfortunately Lowes had a small selection which meant a very wimpy tree. I also learned this year that it's best do the decorating ALONE!! In the past I have decorated when Lilly was napping, but his year Carl brought in all the boxes in the morning and Lilly insisted in getting in on the action. Of course most of the ornaments are breakable and to top it off, Gage was hungry. So I fed Gage his baby food while trying to supervise Lilly all along hearing the various ornaments dropping because the tree branches were so flimsy (or perhaps because she couldn't get them on the branches!!). It was great fun and some how in the midst of it all I was able to take pictures. One day I know I will be able to look back and just laugh. But for now, I need some serious medication!!!
